23rd Gardendale Magnolia Festival

Join us for the 23rd Gardendale Magnolia Festival on April 19-20, 2024! This highly acclaimed event takes place at the Gardendale Civic Center complex and is perfect for families looking for a fun and budget-friendly outing. Our goal is to showcase the best of Gardendale, including local businesses, arts and culture, and community spirit.

With over 160 vendors, two stages of live entertainment, a pooch parade, carnival rides, a car show, a kid zone, and a petting zoo with pony rides, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The festival kicks off on Friday from 5PM to 10PM and continues on Saturday from 10AM to 5PM. Best of all, parking and admission are completely free!

In addition to providing a great time for attendees, the festival also gives back to the community by supporting scholarships. The commitment to excellence has earned us recognition from the Southeast Tourism Society, with two Top 20 Awards and two Top 10 Event Awards. Four of our food vendors even made appearance on the Food Network and Cooking Channel's Carnival Eats in 2014.

The City of Gardendale is the presenting sponsor of the festival. Over $210,000 in college scholarships have been awarded to high school seniors in North Jefferson, along with $22,000 donated to local charities and civic organizations. The festival has provided a platform for various groups to raise funds through events like the Pooch Parade, Car Show, Pageants, Eating Contests, Fishing Tournaments, and 5K Races.
