Letter from the Editor - Lake Wedowee Life Christmas
There’s something truly special about Christmas in a small town — especially here at Lake Wedowee. It’s more than twinkling lights or wrapped gifts under the tree. It’s the laughter that fills the air at holiday gatherings, the smell of something sweet baking in the oven, and the calm beauty of lights reflecting off the water on a still December night.
In this issue of Lake Wedowee Life, we’re celebrating everything that makes the season magical. Inside, you’ll find festive party ideas to make your get-togethers shine, a fun Christmas craft to enjoy with family, and a sweet Christmas lasagna the kids will love. Our friend Joe Hobby brings his humor and charm to this month’s column — a reminder that laughter might just be one of the best gifts of all.
Our cover this month features something close to our hearts — our own office, decked out for the holidays. It’s a little glimpse of the joy and camaraderie that fills our team this time of year. Because around here, it’s not just about celebrating Christmas — it’s about celebrating community.
From all of us at WEDO Media, thank you for letting us be part of your homes and your holidays. May your Christmas be filled with love, laughter, and plenty of small-town sparkle.
Enjoy Life!
Kelly

About the Cover:
We had the idea to give our office that Christmas magic and Justin Hall at Old Noble Gift Shop in Anniston was the very best elf to do the job! He did a great job of bringing our building to life for the holiday season. While we absolutely believe in shopping local, we also encourage you to remember to shop small businesses when you are visiting other areas! Old Noble is located at 1028 Noble Street in Downtown Anniston, Alabama.
“Small towns are best for spending Christmas, I think. They catch the mood quicker and change and come alive under its spell.” – Truman Capote
