The sounds of fiddles, banjos, and bluegrass harmonies will once again fill the air in Athens, Alabama, as the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention returns to Athens State University. Recognized as the “Granddaddy of Mid-South Fiddlers Conventions,” this beloved annual event promises an exciting lineup of performances that celebrate the deep roots of old-time music. 🎶


⭐ A Star-Studded Entertainment Line-Up

The 2025 convention boasts a stellar musical roster, offering something special for every bluegrass and old-time music enthusiast:

  • 📅 Wednesday, October 1 at 7:30 PMJoe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers will kick off the convention with a Free Preview Night Gospel Concert. No admission ticket is required for this soulful and uplifting evening.

  • 📅 Thursday, October 2 at 7:30 PMPitney Meyer will take the stage, bringing a mix of bluegrass energy and storytelling lyrics to captivate the audience.

  • 📅 Friday, October 3 at 6:00 PMJimmy Fortune, former member of the legendary Statler Brothers, will grace the stage with his signature sound, blending country and gospel influences.

  • 📅 Saturday, October 4 at 8:00 PMRhonda Vincent & The Rage, one of the most celebrated acts in bluegrass, will close out the convention with an electrifying performance.

All concerts will take place on the Main Stage at Founders Hall, ensuring an intimate yet vibrant setting for fans to enjoy top-tier musical acts. 🎤


💵 Affordable Fun for the Whole Family

Access to all entertainment is included with the purchase of an admission wristband. Ticket pricing is as follows:

  • 💲 $20 per adult for single-day admission (Thursday, Friday, or Saturday)

  • 💲 $30 per adult for a weekend pass

  • 👧 Children under 12 receive free admission with a paid adult

  • 🎵 Wednesday’s Preview Night Concert is free and open to the public
