We’ll admit it — we love a good selfie. When our sister publication, Alabama Small Towns and Downtowns, launched its Small Town Snaps project, we couldn’t resist jumping in. After all, what better way to capture the magic of Christmas in Alabama than by grinning in front of twinkle lights, painted windows, or even a Whoville scene or two?

This season, we’re hitting the road on a festive photo safari, one small town at a time. From “Hallmark-perfect” river walks to peanuts in Santa hats, each stop has a picture-perfect spot waiting for you. All you need is your phone, your favorite Christmas sweater, and maybe a little hot cocoa to keep your hands warm.

So gather your family, your friends, or just your best “Grinch grin,” and join the fun — snap a selfie at these holiday hotspots and share with #alsmalltownsnaps. Who knows? Your picture-perfect moment might just end up in a future issue!
