For public access to Lake Martin and for fishing galore, head to Wind Creek State Park. There are1444 beautiful acres to play on that hug the shoreline of the lake. There is also Chimney Rock for those of you who are more adventurous and like to climb and jump your way into the lake. 

Where to sleep?

You have to Glamp here, folks. If not you can always camp with your horse. Now that sounds like a good time. Camping and cabins are also available.

What to do?

This state park is exceptional in the “what todo” category. Grab your buddies and head to the zipline canopy tours for a thrill ride of epic proportions. Then go test your abilities at the Putt Putt course, if you can still stand up. Bring the horses for horse trails. Or bring the bikes for biking trails. Fishing and archery are available as well. Way to overachieve, Wind Creek!
