Community Canvas: A Gallery Experience

Now in its fourth year, Community Canvas: A Gallery Experience is one of Oneonta’s most anticipated evenings. The annual juried art show, hosted by the City of Oneonta, brings forward the wonderful opportunity for local artists to showcase their artistic talent, sell their artwork, and enjoy a night with fellow artists and community members. 🖼️✨

“We want our community to be able to see firsthand the talent their own neighbors possess,” says Oneonta Mayor Richard Phillips. “Each year, we are blown away by the artwork that we see. Living in a semi-rural area, we aren’t always afforded the chance to see art in this way, but we know it exists right in our backyard, so all we have done in creating this event is provide the space to make it happen.”

Hosted at the Little Brick Church in the heart of Oneonta, the event spans two evenings:
📅 Friday, June 20th from 6 PM – 8 PM
📅 Saturday, June 21st from 4 PM – 8 PM

During the night, event goers can enjoy free wine 🍷 and hors d'oeuvres, as well as listen to piano music performed by local musicians. 🎹
