Sip, Savor, and Stroll: A Perfect Afternoon at Noccalula Falls
Sponsored by Greater Gadsden Tourism.
When are and wine meet beneath the mist of a 90-foot waterfall, you know you're in for a special kind of Alabama afternoon. On September 20, the fifth annual Alabama Wine Festival finds a new home at Noccalula Falls Park in Gadsden—now in perfect harmony with Art on the Rocks, the area's celebrated artisan showcase.
A Celebration of Alabama's Vineyards
As sunlight filters through the canopy of oaks, visitors wander garden paths, souvenir glasses in hand, sampling wines from across the state. Lake Wedowee Winery, La Famiglia Vineyards, and others pour muscadine reds, crisp whites, and honey-sweet blends—a true taste of Alabama.
Artistry Around Every Corner
Stone walkways open to artisan tents filled with handmade pottery, paintings, and jewelry—each piece telling a story of Alabama's creative heart. With Art on the Rocks alongside, the festival becomes a full-sensory celebration.
Music, Magic, and VIP Moments
Acoustic melodies float through the air while the roar of the falls add a natural rhythm. VIP guests enjoy dinner in the botanical garden and a fireworks show over the gorge.
